Dear brothers & sisters in Christ,
Presvytera Christine Poulos fell asleep in the Lord following illness this past Sunday, as announced during our festival. Arrangements are:
- Public Visitation here – Thu, 5-8p with Trisagion 7p
- Funeral – Fri, 11a
- Interment @ Woodland Cemetery
- Catered Makaria in the Hall 1p
- Memorial Gifts: in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to
- Our Church (online https://archangels.ccbchurch.com/goto/giving, and select either Memorial Gifts 2022 or the Scholarship below)
- Fr. George Poulos IV Scholarship Fund (c/o our Church)
- Annunciation Church (1230 Newfield Avenue, Stamford 06905).
Presvytera is survived her loving children, Peter Poulos and his wife, Argery; Dean Poulos and his wife, Dorie; John Poulos of Liverpool, New York; Michael Poulos and his wife, Pamela; and Paul Poulos and his wife, Georgia. She is also survived by her six cherished grandchildren, Cristina (husband Benjamin), Mary (husband John), George (fiancée Jenna), Dean (wife Potoula), Matthew (our sexton), Peter, and her great-grandchild, Peter Benjamin, sister-in-law Patricia Mirageas of Boston, many nephews and cousins.
Other clergy plan to join us, such as Frs. Elias Villas (District Chancellor who will preside), Patrick Legato, and Evan Evangelides. Native sons Frs. Jim Moulketis (retired) and Steve Zorzos (Washington, DC) unfortunately will be unable to attend.
