Paul is a longtime friend and dear colleague. Despite being a full time professor of theology and president of an international organization, he established this non-profit to help his fellow Ukrainians – both refugees internally and well as externally – as he networks with people “on the ground” in Ukraine and other European countries. Without reservation, I recommend this for anyone looking to find a reliable relief-based organization to supply humanitarian aid. — Fr. Harry
Dear Archangels Greek Orthodox Church,
Your support of Rebuild Ukraine has accomplished so much. Thank you!
As we mark the grim one-year anniversary of this phase of the war, we have a lot to commemorate. So many lives lost. So much human suffering. So many volunteer defenders fighting on the front lines in Ukraine without proper medical supplies and support.
Yet there is reason to hope, thanks to the prayers and action of people like you. Here’s a partial list of what your support of Rebuild Ukraine has delivered directly to those who need it most in Ukraine:
- 9,242 IFAKS, tourniquets, and blood transfusion kits
- 3,826 boots, clothes, sleeping bags and buffs
- 584 tents, solar batteries, power banks, and multi-tools
- 1 ton of dried meat produced and delivered
- 22 used SUVs, ambulances, and ATVs
Equally as important has been how your support has helped children traumatized by the war, including funding a school for 100 refugee children in Montenegro and a special program for injured or displaced children in Kyiv, who benefit from multi-day “master classes,” including art therapy and camping experiences in the countryside. Sometimes it’s necessary to care for the soul, especially of those so young.
I cannot think of a better way to mark this one-year anniversary than by making a special gift to underwrite these exact programs.
The need in Ukraine remains just as great. The defenders and children remain in dire straits. I’m so grateful that you have already done something about this humanitarian crisis, and I invite you to join us again with a special gift today. Thank you so very much!
With prayers and gratitude,
Paul GavrilyukPresident
