Robert M. Hensel, the late disability advocate and poet who had Spina Bifida once said, “There is no greater disability in society, than the inability to see a person as more.” That is, the true human disability is when we disconnect from what it means to be created in the image of God, as “fully human,” and thus discount the gifts of people with defined disabilities.
When humans do not know a living and repentant relationship with our Prototype, we simply paint a tainted image of what it means to be human.
