Dear Rev Fathers and Esteemed Parish Council Presidents,
Today, I write to share with you an exciting initiative for the Archdiocese in the upcoming year, the Hellenic Education Fund. Under the guidance of our beloved Archbishop Elpidophoros, this fund aims to support the vitality and growth of Hellenic Education, making it a top priority for His Eminence and our national community.
As you know, the health and well-being of our 25 full-time Archdiocesan day schools and 500 afternoon schools, which serve our diverse communities, is struggling in many ways. These educational institutions shape the minds and hearts of our children, preserving our rich cultural heritage and language and also leave a lasting impression on our surroundings.
The Hellenic Education Fund, whose scope has far reaching potential, has a dual purpose: to showcase Hellenic arts and music, connect the Archdiocese with all of us in meaningful ways, and enable us to create an awareness campaign that highlights Hellenic Education as a top priority of our beloved, Archbishop Elpidophoros and all Greek Orthodox Americans across the country.
Please consider supporting this worthy cause and do not miss our first spectacular event on Tuesday, January 30th.
The Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America is proud to present: “Letters About Three Luminaries: the Music of Athanasios Zervas.” The concert in collaboration with DCINY (Distinguished Concerts International NY) aims to reinvigorate a long-standing tradition of commemorating the Feast Day of the Three Hierarchs: St. Basil the Great, St. Gregory the Theologian and St. John Chrysostom. Inspired by the literary influence of these Great Hierarchs, Zervas skillfully combines Greek folk music with contemporary works that allow us to connect in a different way with the thoughts and beauty of these influential luminaries.
How to get tickets:
1) General seating tickets ($60-$250) for the concert (7pm) should be purchased directly at https://www.carnegiehall.org/Events#calendar. At this site, click on the Zervas event January 30 to buy general seating tickets.

Faithfully yours in the Lord,
