Public Bulletins on Suicide Prevention
As we begin the new school year, we want to remind everyone that suicide remains a critical concern for our young people, their families, and their communities.
Over the summer months, Connecticut has experienced multiple suicide deaths among young people. The linked bulletins below were developed through a collaborative effort among the Department of Children and Families, the Department Mental Health and Addiction Services, the Office of Child Advocate, the Department of Public Health, the State Department of Education, and the Governor’s Office. The content includes information on suicide, helpful tips to support people of all ages, and where to go for additional support and resources.
