Secure Your Spot: Professional Growth in Cyprus!

The Department of Greek Education of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America is pleased to announce the 2025 Summer Seminar for Greek Teachers in Cyprus, an enriching professional development opportunity designed for educators dedicated to preserving and advancing the Hellenic language and culture.
This prestigious program is generously funded by the Cyprus Ministry of Education, Sports, and Youth and partly supported by Leadership 100 (A $1,000 travel stipend per teacher). Its funding reflects a shared commitment to fostering Greek education and strengthening the connection between educators in the United States and the Hellenic world.
A Transformative Educational Experience
Set against the backdrop of Cyprus, a fantastic land abundant in Greek history and cultural heritage, this seminar provides an immersive learning experiencedesigned to enhance teaching methodologies, deepen linguistic skills, and cultivate a greater appreciation for the Greek language, history, and identity.
Participants will engage in specialized workshops, interactive discussions, and cultural excursions led by distinguished educators and scholars. The program is carefully designed to provide practical tools and innovative strategies that will empower Greek teachers in their classrooms and strengthen the impact of Greek language instruction in the United States.
Who Can Apply?
The seminar is open to Greek language educators serving in Greek Orthodox parochial schools, afternoon programs, charter schools, and community schools across the United States. This is a unique opportunity for teachers to refine their skills, exchange best practices, and network with fellow educatorscommitted to preserving Hellenic heritage.
