Archdeaconess Angelic-Phoebe’s Ministry

This month, we celebrate the one year anniversary of the ordination of Archdeaconess Angelic-Phoebe. Axia!

Archdeaconess Angelic-Phoebe continues to serve at St. Nektarios Parish in Harare, Zimbabwe. With support from her congregation and fellow clergy, she leads women’s ministries, pastoral care, and community outreach programs, specifically supporting women and children to flourish in their faith and life.

Her ministry supports the whole person – she has established a feeding program and a community garden to provide physical nourishment, as well as spiritual nourishment, for the underserved members of her church.

She has fostered a compassionate and faith-rooted environment through catechism classes, pastoral visits, and women support groups.

She has impacted the Orthodox community across Zimbabwe and beyond, representing the Archbishop at global church events, including the All Africa Conference of Churches and the World Council of Churches.

Through everything, she shares her deep gratitude for the guidance of His Eminence Metropolitan Serafim and encouragement of her parish priest, Fr. Augustine Moeketsi.

Join us in celebrating and supporting Archdeaconess Angelic-Phoebe’s vital work!

Before her ordination, Archdeaconess Angelic-Phoebe received a grant to pursue higher education at Zimbabwe Open University, where she studies Geography and Environmental Studies, placing the sanctity of Earth at the heart of her work.

By purchasing a tote or notebook, you’re uplifting Archdeaconess Angelic-Phoebe and empowering female leaders across Africa. Every purchase supports the African Women’s Grant.

Additionally, we want Archdeaconess Angelic-Phoebe to know that she is truly not alone; God is with her, and there is a cloud of witnesses across the world that rejoices in her ordination. Therefore, we invite you to write a short note of encouragement, appreciation, and support to Archdeaconess Angelic-Phoebe.

Send it to stphoebecenter@gmail.com by May 15th. The St. Phoebe Center will collect these notes and send them to her, as well as publish excerpts on our website.
