I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:10-11
“Dear Fr. Harry,
“Good news” and “great joy” may not have been central themes of 2020, but as we celebrate the feast of Christmas the angel addresses each one of us with these words of hope and life. We have been given good news and it should fill us with great joy. Despite the challenges and dislocations, we have experienced over the past year in Albania, starting with the earthquake in November 2019, and continuing with all the different stages of the COVID-19 crisis, we are filled with gratitude and joy as we prepare to celebrate Christ’s birth among us. We are thankful for so many things, some of which we will share with you in this letter, but most of all we are grateful for life in Christ that brings meaning to all our challenges and joy in our blessings. We are also extremely grateful for each one of you, and your partnership with us in the ministry in Albania.
