Stamford Interfaith Refugee Settlement (SIRS) is awaiting word from IRIS-Integrated Refugee and Immigrant Services on the arrival of a family that SIRS will co-sponsor under the Afghan Placement and Assistance Program (APA). Because of the current situation SIRS has offered IRIS to co-sponsor 2 families. The urgent need is for a 2-3 BR apartment. SIRS is collecting furniture and funds to help both families.
